Meet our founder
Adriana Devers is the founder of Cuentos de Triadas, an author, poet, and educator with over 15 years of experience teaching Spanish language and literature. Her mission is to bring Latinx culture to the forefront of children’s stories and inspire a new generation of readers and writers.
With a BA and MALS from Stony Brook University and a NYS Teaching Certificate, Adriana has combined her academic background with her passion for storytelling to create meaningful cultural experiences. She has been recognized three years in a row by the Huntington Arts Council Regrant Program and NYSCA’s Fiscal Sponsorship for her impact in arts and community engagement.
Through Cuentos de Triadas, Adriana creates spaces—like book fairs modeled after Scholastic, with a Latin twist—that highlight Latinx authors and stories, ensuring our culture is not a side note but a centerpiece. Guided by the New York State Culturally Responsive Sustaining Education Framework, her multidisciplinary approach blends creativity, knowledge, and pride to keep Hispanic voices alive, loved, and celebrated.
Join Adriana and Cuentos de Triadas in reactivating our stories and strengthening cultural heritage at your school and beyond.
